The Fourth Week in Advent – Waiting and praying for God’s presence and peace

I am lighting four candles for my Lord. (Repeat line)

Waiting for the telling of the story. Waiting for the songs of all His glory.

Now the flames are burning for my Lord. Now my heart is burning for His presence.

Thought – It is so hard to wait for Christmas every year. Think how hard it is for God to wait for us to get on board.

Saturday: Listen to the Song – This Is Christmas

This is Christmas, wondrous Christmas. This is Christmas, blessed Christmas.

Christmas is amazement! Amazed at the birth of God’s son. Christmas is acceptance.

Accepting that Christ is Immanuel. Accepting that Christ is the One.

The One that brings forgiveness. The One that gives us His grace.

The One that brings salvation and joy for all of our days.

Christmas is for you. And Christmas is for me. Christmas is forever.

Forever in God’s holy love and care. Forever in God’s perfect peace.

This is Christmas, wondrous Christmas. This is Christmas, blessed Christmas.

God’s love is all we need. Praise God, He’s all we need.

Christ gave His all for us. Rejoice He came for us.

Holy Spirit sent to earth, Holy Spirit sent to earth, Holy Spirit sent to earth to fill the children of God. Sing and shout ye children of God.

Rejoice, rejoice in God always. Rejoice in God always.

His is our refuge, the One we trust. He shelters us and we’re safe.

Rejoice, rejoice always!

Rejoice, Rejoice in Christ always. Rejoice in Christ always.

He is our Savior, our Prince of Peace, our Wonderful Counselor.

Rejoice, rejoice always!

Rejoice, in the Holy Spirit always. Rejoice in God’s Spirit always.

Given to us when Jesus rose. We are God’s temple on earth.
